Registration

Riders are encouraged to pre-register for all events. Pre-registration is accepted for brevets up to one week before the event. Day-of-ride entries for brevets will be accepted, but a surcharge is imposed (see below). No acknowledgment of entry will normally be sent out. Please contact us if you need to confirm your entry has been received. Cue sheets and maps are handed out to all registered riders at the start of the event. Please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope with your entry if you need a hard copy of the cue sheet before the event.

Fees

Iowa Randonneurs has to charge entry fees for most events to cover expenses. We try to keep these as low as possible and run the events at break even. The fee structure for 2017 events is as follows:

200K ACP brevets: $5.

300K and 400K ACP brevets: $10. This includes a daily use fee for Raccoon River Valley Trail.

600K ACP brevet: $15. This includes a daily use fee for Raccoon River Valley Trail and access to a "group" room at Quality Inn for bag drop and shower.

Non-RUSA members: $5 insurance surcharge. Starting in 2016, insurance coverage for RUSA members is covered by RUSA. That is not the case for non-RUSA members, which is why we must charge slightly more for participation in brevets (there's no such charge for populaires).

Day-of-ride registration: $5 surcharge. While we always welcome day-of-ride registrants, pre-registration does make our lives easier, as we then know how many cue sheets and brevet cards to print, and there is less work for us at the check-in.

Medals: We no longer deal with medals. RUSA members wishing to obtain a medal for an event should now do this directly from the souvenir shop on the RUSA web site.

EVERY RIDER IS REQUIRED TO SIGN THE RELEASE FORM, which will be provided at the start of each event and doubles as a sign-in sheet.

To pre-register for the brevets, please use the on-line link or download, print, fill out and mail the Registration form provided below.
